Is Justin Bieber Going Country with Band 'Rascal Flatts'?

Rascal Flatts

I'm constantly amazed at what this talented teenager will come up with next.  Not only is he winning awards all over the place and promoting his music CDs and all kinds of merchandise, but now he's branching out into country music. Who knows? It might be a good venue for him. Good luck Justin

That Rascal Justin Bieber Going Country with Band 'Rascal Flatts':

It's not a musical career change but the versatile Justin Bieber is gonna try a country tune on his next album. So who are the guys he's doing it with?

Fans that rascal Justin Bieber is going country. Not a career change or anything - pop, hip hop and rock are his thing - but he's teaming up with the American country band Rascal Flatts for a song that will be on his next record, whenever, and whatever, that will be.

Rascal Flatts singer Gary LeVox told a Nashville radio station on Dec. 15 that Bieber and his management team had contacted them about doing a song on Bieber's next album and LeVox said that Rascal Flatts was happy to comply. He said they have been in a studio in Nashville already and started to record their parts on the Bieber song and that Bieber himself will be along to do his parts in the next month or two.

Justin Bieber and Rascal Flatts to Record

Rascal Flatts is a three-piece country band that is from the Columbus, Ohio area and plays out of there and Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to LeVox there's his cousin, Jay DeMarcus on bass, piano, backing vocals, and Joe Don Rooney, who plays lead guitar and sings back-up. The band has been around for over a decade and have put out 7 albums of their own, all of which have gone platinum or better.

LeVox say that one of the reasons he's happy to be working on something with the Canadian popular pop singer is that his own daughters, Brooklyn, 6, and Brittany, who is 10, have Bieber fever and spends lots of time playing Bieber songs. Brittany, he says, is so pleased that she's telling people what Daddy is up to. "Brittany says, 'My dad's doing a duet with Justin Bieber, and I DO have Bieber fever!'"

Is That JUSTIN BIEBER - Cloned?

You must be crazy-popular when the media makes up a story about you getting cloned and it gets published in the Weekly World News. This tongue-in-cheek article below is well-written and entertaining and in this day and age just nibbles at the edge of possibility. Ple-e-e-ase just don't let it happen in my lifetime!

JUSTIN BEIBER CLONED
Weekly World News:  By J.B. Smitts Posted on Wednesday, December 8th,

2010VANCOUVER – Scientists have successfully cloned Justin Beiber. They plan to form the world’s greatest boy band!

“In a world where internet singing sensations are a dime a dozen, it only makes sense to take the greatest boy singer ever, clone him, and produce the greatest boy band of all time,” said Ed Rothenberger, a scientist in the University of Vancouver’s genetic research department. “Now girls will have four times the Beiber to swoon over!”

Scientists at the university said they were able to clone Beiber by using DNA from a strand of his golden, shaggy locks. After a few days of expirementation, they were able to create three perfectly identical Beiber clones.

“They all look exactly the same,” said Will Shapiro, a lab technician at the University of Vancouver. “Every single one of them has the same goofy smile, the same cheesy haircut, and the same arrogant, upturned nose. It’s unbelievable!”

According to recent reports, scientists at the university have teamed up with British billionaire Sir Richard Branson to market and publicize the genetically modified boy band.

“We’re going to call it ‘Just The Beibs,’” said Branson. “It’ll be every twelve year olds’ dream come true.”
But even from the get-go, the group has run into its fair share of logistical problems. That’s why Branson has called in Keith Campbell, the scientist known for his ground breaking work with Dolly the cloned sheep, for help.

“As the clones develop, the real challenge has been dealing with their individual,” said Campbell, “not to mention keeping track of which one is the original Beiber.”

Still, Campbell remains hopeful that the Beiber super group can pull it together within no time.

“Once the remaining kinks are worked out with the clones, they will be ready for the studio. We expect to have them laying down tracks in the months to come.”

Other celebrities have expressed interests in being cloned, and scientists at University of Vancouver have not ruled out the possibility of cloning other pop-culture icons.

“What Beibs is doing is mad smart,” proclaimed Kanye West, a fellow member of the Island Def Jam label. “It even made me want to clone myself. Because the one thing world could always use is another cocky, untalented Kanye West!”

Justin Bieber Launching Dogtag and Wristband Fragrances

Here we go again!  This young man is not going to sit on his laurels. He's going out and picking out his share of the pie. Not only is he one of top entertainment earners, now he's going to change the way teens perfume themselves. His new Dogtag and Wristband fragrances are almost guaranteed to be a successful venture.

Justin Bieber to Launch Fragrance Collection
Beauty Industry and Products News - WWD.com:

Get ready for another outbreak of Bieber Fever.

The teenage pop phenomenon Justin Bieber is bursting onto the celebrity fragrance scene, with a twist. Rather than introduce a traditional fragrance housed in a glass bottle, the 16-year-old tween and teen heartthrob has teamed up with the newly formed company Etoile Nation Beauty to introduce wristbands and dog tags infused with a unisex fragrance called My World. The scented accessories are slated to launch in Wal-Mart stores on Black Friday.

The unconventional approach is fitting for the pop star, who catapulted to fame after posting homemade videos of himself singing on YouTube. Bieber, who plays the drums, guitar, piano and trumpet, is learning the notes of the fragrance game, too. Before a concert Friday evening at Arco Arena in Sacramento, Calif., Bieber told WWD over instant message that he spent part of the day smelling different scents.

“They actually brought me a bunch of stuff to smell today,” he said. “One of them smelled too young, too fruity. One was really good.”

As for what type of scent he finds alluring on girls, Bieber said, “I actually like the Britney Spears perfume on girls. It smells good.”

While Bieber has lots of other products bearing his name, this is his first foray into the beauty arena. Could a hair care deal be far behind? Bieber gets a lot of attention for his locks — even New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has grown his own variation of it, which led Bieber to post a humorous rap about it on YouTube: “Sacked like a sacker. Call up Mr. Brady. Tell him to leave his hair to the guy who sings ‘Baby.’”

While Bieber, a Canadian native, wouldn’t talk about the rap, he describes his manicured mop as “a Canadian hockey thing.”

Styling is easy: shampoo, condition, blow dry, a shake of the head and “no product.”

The 16-year-old Baby singer — who’s gearing up to release his own fragrance for women — says he still dreams of being like his comic book heroes but with his own unique set of powers.

“I would love to be a superhero,” says Justin.

“I would love to be able to fly of course, but my other power would be something like the ability to pause time. That could really come in handy.”

Bieber recently revealed he gets bullied over the internet.

“Everybody goes through bullying,” he said. “Everybody has, even me. On my YouTube page, there are so many haters. They just say crazy stuff. Like, I’m not mad, I’m 16 and I don’t have chest hair. I’m not angry about it at the moment. That will come

“People are like, ‘Look at him, he puts helium in his voice before he sings.’ You just have to laugh at yourself. It’s funny.

“There are so many bullies. It goes on so much. I think that you should… especially if you are a bystander, you definitely should help out because it could be you next.”
